Project: The Red Bulletin iPad App
The Red Bull magazine was the one part of Red Bull you hadn’t heard of. We changed that.
On par with GQ and Wallpaper, the Red Bulletin magazine was struggling. Sure, they had amazing content and a powerhouse parent brand, but awareness of this digital publication was anemic.
Our first step was to streamline the registration process, creating landing pages that were simpler and more engaging. Once the site was cleaned up, we shifted to awareness. Our unique Flipboard ads married the brand’s personality with the magazine’s one-of-a-kind content. Readers who enjoyed the content could download the app to dig in further.
The result was more than 13,000 downloads in the first two months—raising the Red Bulletin to its rightful place in the Red Bull universe.
